The room opens onto the walled garden at ground level, and the light arrives late, softened by the lemon trees. The bathroom is lined in white Carrara tile, with a walk-in rain shower and no step.
You hear the garden more than the town: water in the stone basin, a blackbird at dusk. It is the quietest room in the house.
